  1. NEW RELEASE! 1950 ROLLS ROYCE PHANTOM IV, AS OWNED BY HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II.

The introduction of the Britannia Collection, from British Heritage Models, has been a resounding success, with sales of the models far higher than anticipated.

The models are hand built replicas of Rolls Royce and Bentley motor cars, and for the first time, a LIMITED EDITION model is about to be added to the range.

Arriving in February 2012, will be a 1:43rd scale replica of the 1950 Rolls Royce Phantom IV, hand built in resin.

The Phantom IV is the rarest of all Rolls Royces, with only eighteen examples having ever been built. Every one of these cars was delivered to a royal family, or Head of State.

The model to be introduced is based on the car that was delivered to The Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Elizabeth, in 1950.

As a private car, it was initially painted in Valentine green. However, on her succession to the throne, in 1952, the car then became an official state car and was resprayed in the Monarch's official colours of claret and black. This is the livery of the Britannia Collection model.

The car is still owned by Her Majesty The Queen, to this day. The car's most recent appearance was on April 29th 2011, when it was one of the vehicles used for the wedding of His Royal Highness, The Prince William to Miss Kate Middleton, now The Duchess of Cambridge.

This new addition to the Britannia Collection is a superbly built rendition. The detailing is exquisite, down to the minute St. George slaying the dragon, bonnet mascot.

The real mascot is owned by Her Majesty the Queen and is transferable from, and to, each car in the royal fleet, and is used to signify that the particular vehicle is currently transporting Her Majesty.

The model will be presented plinth-mounted and encased within a perspex display case. This is then placed within a British Heritage Models green, luxury, grained leather-look box, which is sponge-lined and hinged lidded. The box is then placed within a protective sleeve, of similar description.

The model is supplied with a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity and will be a LIMITED EDITION of just 150 examples for worldwide distribution.

To register your interest in reserving a model, please contact Frank Jones of British Heritage Models by phoning: +44 (0)1244 320761

The price of the model will be £99.95 plus U.K. postage & packing of £5, with international postage & packing at cost.

Payment will not be required until the model is in stock, ready for delivery.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a rare model of an extremely rare Rolls Royce.
