  2.

... further to my last post regarding the revival of BHM BRITANNIA, since watching Her

Majesty's funeral yesterday, I have abandoned this idea, and will now launch a new

category on the site: BHM PLATINUM.

This is the logical step from BRITANNIA, but will concentrate on models as owned by

Her Majesty, and, subsequently, by His Majesty King Charles III.

The initial four models due to be produced can now be seen in the PLATINUM

    category of the site.

The models will be LIMITED EDITIONS of 70 each, and pay tribute to Her Majesty

The Queen and/or His Majesty King Charles III, depending on when they were owned.

    Regards to all,

    Frank.

  4. ... having been approached by a number of you, with regard to buying MILENA ROSE models, I

have decided to, gradually, add the models to the site.

MILENA ROSE are produced by SILAS MODELS so, we automatically know that the

models will be excellent, as they come from Frederic.

We all know these cars, as they were on sale in Britain during their production runs, so

they are no strangers. The models are offered as the cars in their various export

guises, which, although not so familiar to British eyes, may fill a niche in your

    model collection.

Click over now to the MILENA ROSE category to see the first three:

the 1970 Pegeout 404 and the 1964 IKA Renault Gordini (based on the Dauphine),

    and the 1976 Renault 12L.

The models will be here soon.

    Regards to all,

    Frank.

  5. AT LAST!

some good news for a change!

Frederic of SILAS MODELS has just emailed me to say that he's now in possession of

a new supply of TRIUMPH 2000/2500 estate cars.

The 2000 is in Inca yellow, and the 2500 in Emerald green.

Owing to the previous colours of this model flying out, these are STRICTLY LIMITED

EDITION colours, never before been available:

ONLY 48 in each colour. My order is already in, and these models will be on the way

to me from Paris on Monday so, ARRIVAL IS IMMINENT!!

To pre-order, contact me, by hook or by crook, and I'll reserve your model/s for you.

Click over now to SILAS MODELS to see examples of these gorgeous TRIUMPH

    models.

Another gorgeous model from Frederic Cros.

    Regards to all,

    Frank.

  6. ... as we are all aware, delivery of new models from abroad is constantly being disrupted owing to various situations beyond our control.

The latest (genuine) reason is that because of the intense heatwave that has been going on in China, demand for electric fans, air conditioning units, etc., has gone through the roof, causing massive demand for electricity.

Some factories have been put on short time, through lack of sufficeinet electricity to go around. One of my suppliers is currently working a two day week, as opposed to five.

Hopefully, all these various disruptions: transportation, import backlogs, electricity supplies, will settle down shortly, and things will get back to something resembling normality. Until then, we'll all have to 'keep calm and carry on' so to speak.

(Personally, I'm worried sick. I don't know where my next million's coming from ...)

    Regards to all,

    Frank.
