  1. Received this email this morning from another customer, who bought a Corsair...

"Many Thanks Frank, The lovely Corsair arrived this morning, sooner than I expected, no problems at all"

    GF

A lot of customers are buying one of each: 2000E + 2000GT with the 2000E colour split being roughly 50/50 between the Amber gold and the Aubergine.

    Regards to all,

    Frank.

  2. ... British Heritage Models is proud to announce that they have been appointed as the SOLE UK DISTRIBUTOR for a new brand of premium quality, 1:43rd scale, model cars.

OTOL MODELS are based in Turkey and the models are made in China.

They are LIMITED EDITIONS and are in the upper, premium sector of 1:43 scale model cars.

Retail price has yet to be finalised, but will be within the region of MAJESTY CLASSICS.

The first model in the range is the 1968 MARK II Hillman Hunter. This will be joined straight away by the PAYKAN, which was the Hunter, supplied by Rootes to Iran in CKD (completely knocked down) form, then being assembled abroad.

Your model won't be in CKD form though - so you can put away your glue!

Click over now to OTOL MODELS on the site to see preliminary, manufacturer's photos. When the models arrive, I'll take my own.

The first batch will be of limited quantity so if you want to pre-order one, let me know.

    Regards to all,

    Frank.

  3. ...I've just replaced the manufacturer's photos with my own, that I took today. They show the models closer up, in better detail.

The paintwork is so shiny that it shows up the slightest reflection and these can look like scratches but they're not.

Click over now and have a look.

    Regards to all,

    Frank.

  4. ...the orders for the Corsair are coming in a lot faster than expected.

I am continually ordering from the factory, but because of of the intricate construction aspect of hand built, highly detailed models, the production process is slow.

    PLEASE NOTE!

there are no models currently in stock but you may buy one on the system, as a 'back order', and the model will be sent as soon as it arrives, which could take 2-3 weeks.

Anyone not prepared to wait, and requesting a refund, please contact me.

    Regards to all,

    Frank.

  5. The new BHM EXCALIBUR range got off to a fantastic start with the Cavalier MK 1 variants.

EXCALIBUR is the range to cover later British cars (usually) from 1980 onwards.

    SO!!!

click over now to the EXCALIBUR category, to see what's coming next!

My man in China is currently finalising the Standard Pennant, in preparation for production, and then he goes onto development of the Victor 101 + VX 4/90 but after that, Majesty Classics will be paused temporarily to allow EXCALIBUR to take a bigger share of the models.

EXC 4, 4a and EXC 5 can be pre-ordered now. Obviously, they won't be ready in five minutes, but if you want any of them, let me know.

Colours are yet to be decided.

    Regards to all,

    Frank.

  6. ... things have progressed well, recently, with the factory now gradually returning to normal working.

Here's what was said in an email received on 9th October...

    "MC 14 STANDARD PENNANT

(This is in progress, try to produce samples at the end of the month, and ship it to you at the beginning of November)"

I'll keep my fingers crossed, because these things have a habit of going awry!

    Watch this space...

    Regards to all,

    Frank.
