Click over to the "World Heritage Models" section then onto Minimarque GTA to see some beautiful Auburn BRAND NEW IN BOX models just arrived into stock.

The 851 Supercharged Phaeton in open or closed versions and the 1929 Cabin Speedster are stunning models with a wealth of exquisite detailing. The finish and quality are superb.

Some people (not me!) sell these models on Ebay for around the £200 mark!! So, if you collect top notch American models, here's a chance to pick one up at a very reasonable price.

I've just ordered 6 models of the Jaguar XJS car, as used by Ian Ogilvy in The Return of the Saint.

Sales of the P1800 Volvo ST 1 model by Tin Wizard, have been very successful so the XJS was a logical step.

The XJS model, made by SMTS, will be hand-built in white metal with their usual attention to detail and build quality.

If you want one of the six ST1 XJS's let me know straight away by phoning me on 01244 320761 or by email: [email protected]

To see some photos of the real car, click over to the SMTS category on the site.

    Regards to all,

    Frank.

Just arrived from SMTS is a model unique to BHM. Especially commissioned by me is a replica of the first Jaguar E-Type, chassis #850001, to leave the production line in March 1961.

Check out this beautiful model in the "Sovereign" section of the BHM category on the site.

    A gorgeous model.

    Regards to all,

    Frank.

It has been proposed that a joint venture between Silas Models of France and British Heritage Models of England should produce a 1/18 scale version of the Mk 2 Cortina, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the original car, in 2016.

Initial suggestions are that the model would be based on the 4-door saloon. To achieve economies of scale, the proposed 200 (?) units of the LIMITED EDITION would cover three models in that range: the 1600E, the 1600GT and the 1600 Super.

No prices are available yet but the model would be up to the usual standards of Silas excellence and value for money. There will be no opening doors etc.

This announcement is a 'toe in the water' exercise to judge demand for such a model. If you are keen to register your interest, please contact me for further details: T 01244 320761 or email [email protected].

    Regards to all,

    Frank.
