I was born in Old Swan, Liverpool, and now live in Chester. From an early age, I wrote poetry and short stories. Later in life, becoming interested in writing drama, I attended creative writing courses at the Liverpool University Department of Extension Studies and at the Arvon Foundation in Devon tutored by Willy Russell and Adrian Henri.

My first novel "Her Name Was Charlie" is now on sale, together with "For You…" a collection of my poetry. Apart from poetry and plays, I also enjoy writing children’s stories (ages ranging from pre-school to mid-teen) and write songs.
